From watching HGTV all throughout my childhood and doing Saturday craft projects, to constantly rearranging my bedroom and always increasing my furniture and accessories collection, I have always known Interior Design was my passion.

I am currently working at Ethan Allen in Kentwood, Michigan, but Lansing is my hometown. I graduated from Central Michigan University (CMU) with an Interior Design major and an Event Management minor. I was part of the National Honor Society and was a member of the American Society of Interior Designers at CMU.

My career objectives include working for a company in which I can embrace my passion for the technical side of Interior Design. My favorite aspect to the design process involves the beginning stages. I enjoy creating and working from floor plans; it’s easier to think through the flow of the space knowing the plans are still somewhat changeable and fluid. I also absolutely love playing with and personalizing all of my electronics, and when they don’t work properly, tinkering until I find a solution. I’ve become the go-to person for any computer problems with my friends, family, and even at work. For my dream job, I would like to go into space planning or any occupation which promotes functional and efficient living.
